| Boo! Ha-ha, I scared you. Yes, I am actually posting. Pretty crazy, huh? Anyway, I don't think life could be much better right now. Much could be said, but I've only got ten minutes before my next class, so I'll be brief. I just bought a new car (well, new to me). It's a green 2001 Dodge Intrepid, and it's oh-so-much nicer then my old car (which I sold soon after I got the Intrepid). It's definitely a blessing from God, 'cause my old car was about to die. I got a new guitar: a hollow-body Ibanez electric guitar. VERY pretty, and very pretty sound. I'm using it for most (all?) of the recording for the cd Remnant is working on making. The cd is starting to come together, and should be done sometime this spring, God willing. I'll let you all know when it's done. It's time for class, so I have to log off. I'll try to get pictures of the car and the guitar and post them. In the name of Jesus Christ, John K. | | |
| Hello everybody! I'm alive! After an insanely busy semester, I get to sit down and have a nice, relaxing Christmas break. Or not. *grin* I guess I should tell you all what's been happening in my life. Like I said before, I've been crazy busy with school, but also quite busy with church and other stuff. I don't know if I mentioned this in any of my other posts, but I've been attending Summit Christian Church for 4-5 months now. I joined the worship team a month or two ago, and am finally playing and/or singing on a regular basis now. As far as playing goes, I'm currently only playing my acoustic guitar for church, but eventually they might have me play electric occasionally. Thank God that He has allowed me to serve Him through helping lead worship. School's over...finally! I'm expecting, God willing, my grades to be as follows: Database Concepts: B or C Management Concepts and Practices: A Probability and Statistics: A General Physics 1: A General Physics 1 lab: C General Psychology: A So far so good. I'm officially 3/8th of my way through this thing known as college. Yay! A band I'm in, Remnant, is in the process of recording a cd. Hopefully it will be decent quality. :) I can't wait to show it off when it's done. Well, I have to get off, so I will talk to you all later. I'll try to update a little more then I have been. To Him who left His home in heaven to live the perfect life that we could never live, die on the cross, and rise again, to Him be ALL glory and honor and power, forever and ever. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, amen! John K. | | |
| Hey everybody, Rumor has it on the street that my brother is engaged to Athena (childofmany). Word is that they're getting married in January. Crazy stuff, eh? Seriously though, that's totally awesome for him and her. I'm super excited about the wedding! Anyways, I have to get off, but I figured an update was due. In Christ, John K. | | |
| Hey everybody, Update time! And this time I actually have some news to bring to all of you. Except for the fact that most of you already know about it...anyway, it's cool non-the-less. I filled out an application to play guitar for the worship team at my church a couple of weeks ago. I auditioned for the worship leader last Wednesday, and she said that she not only wanted me to play, but she also wanted me to sing as well. I was like, "you want...ME...to sing???" Like, 'cause I told her before that I'm not a great singer. However, I usually sing while I play, which is why I sang Wednesday night at the audition. She said I sounded fine, so I guess my voice is not terrible. My lunch break is coming to a close, so I have to clock back in. 'later, peoples. To Him who is worthy of all glory and honor, in His precious name, Jesus Christ, John K.

| Hey everybody, Life is good. Work is sometimes tiring, I'm lacking sleep, and homework is piling up, but life is good. I recently read through all of my Xanga posts and most of the comments. It's intrigueing to see how much you have changed in a little over a year. Perspectives, opinions, emotions, thought-process...quite interesting how much has changed. Well, I need to get off and do homework, so I'll stop typing this incredibly long post. *grin* To Him who gives mercy, grace, and love in abundance; in His precious name, Jesus Christ, John K. | | |
